The UPPAbaby® Mesa infant car seat is installed fastest and most easily on the practical base with a load leg. The indicators let you know the car seat is installed correctly when they turn from red to green. For safety, the UPPAbaby® Mesa car seat is mounted on the base rear-facing. The Isofix base for the UPPAbaby® Mesa car seat meets the i-Size standard ECE R129. It has a load leg for extra stability, which folds under the base when not in use. Combined with the base, the UPPAbaby® Mesa car seat offers complete safety on every journey. An Isofix base with a load leg provides greater safety than Isofix bases without one. The zone in the load leg absorbs force and reduces the force acting on the child. Thanks to the stabilising load leg, the UPPAbaby® Isofix base reduces the risk of forward rotation by as much as 90% and is suitable for all Mesa infant car seats.
