✅ Best suited for
The MESA i-Size car seat is designed for the youngest ones, as it can safely accommodate a newborn from a height of 40 cm, and you can use it all the way up to a height of 78 cm or 13 kg. The SMARTSecure system with visual indicators ensures that the installation is always correct, with no guesswork involved. The headrest with EPP foam provides additional protection against side impacts, while the included newborn insert gives extra support to babies under 60 cm. An ideal choice for parents looking for a simple, safe and reliable solution for the first months of their child's life.
🤔 Less suitable if
The ISOFIX base for installation in the vehicle is not included in the set, so you need to buy it separately. The seat is not suitable for children taller than 78 cm or heavier than 13 kg, as at that point you need to upgrade to the next group of car seats.

Product description
Innovative technology built into the MESA i-Size car seat ensures simple, correct and safe car seat installation - no guesswork involved. The SMARTSecure system with visual indicators that turn from red to green enables precise installation and ensures your child's safety with no compromises. MESA delivers maximum simplicity and minimizes the possibility of installation error, so you can travel with confidence and peace of mind.
ADJUSTABLE HEADREST WITH ADVANCED SIDE-IMPACT PROTECTION - The headrest is reinforced with EPP foam that prevents the newborn's head from shifting during a side-impact collision.
NO-REROUTE HARNESS - The unique harness doesn't require rerouting as your child grows, so you can always be sure the harness is positioned correctly.
GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD - The low harness position safely protects newborns from a height of 40 cm. MESA i-Size also adapts as your child grows - up to a height of 78 cm or a weight of 13 kg (until approximately 14 months of age). The included infant insert is recommended for babies under 60 cm (until approximately 3 months of age).
i-SIZE (UN R129) - The car seat is approved to the UN R129 (i-Size) standard and is installed in the car rear-facing on the MESA i-Size ISOFIX base, which is sold separately.
COMPATIBLE WITH UPPAbaby VISTA AND CRUZ STROLLERS - It fits VISTA and CRUZ strollers without adapters, ensuring the best mobility and safety. It detaches from the stroller with the push of a button and transfers to the car in one simple motion.
WASHABLE - The cover is removable and washable. There's no need to remove the harness in the process, so it's always correctly positioned.
CANOPY WITH UPF 25+ SUN PROTECTION - The built-in canopy offers extra sun protection and conveniently folds away when you don't need it.
