The seat is forward-facing and offers excellent side-impact protection (SIP, Guard Surround Safety™) along with adjustability through 9 headrest positions and 4 seat recline positions for comfort on long drives. It's a great fit if you're looking for one seat that will accompany your child through several developmental stages.

The outstanding Joie® Fortifi™ i-Size car seat ensures optimal safety and comfort on every journey. Young passengers between 76 and 105 cm in height will be secured in the child car seat with the seat's 5-point harness, while passengers between 100 and 145 cm tall can be secured using only the car's seatbelt routed through the clearly green-marked guides on the seat. Once children have outgrown the use of the 5-point harness, it can be quickly and easily stored inside the seat in the area that supports the child's back. The Joie® Fortifi™ i-Size child car seat is installed in the car using the car's seatbelt, without an Isofix system.

When securing your child with the 5-point harness, the buckle turns green when correctly fastened. You can also follow the colour buckle for the routing of the car seatbelt, which confirms correct installation. The steel-reinforced seat provides the child with safety at every age, including in the event of a side impact, with the help of SIP side protection. The high backrest provides good support for the child's body while also ensuring that the seatbelt is positioned correctly. The car seat features the Guard Surround Safety™ system, which provides complete protection against side impacts, including in the hip and back areas.
