Advice

How to choose?

When choosing, think about what you'll mainly use the cloth for - this affects the most suitable size and material.

Muslin or cotton: muslin is extremely breathable and soft, while cotton gauze fabric is somewhat more absorbent and durable.
Size: smaller cloths are handy for wiping and washing, while larger ones are better for swaddling or as a blanket.
Versatility: choose a set that can also be used as a stroller sunshade or changing pad.
Care: natural fibers can withstand frequent washing at higher temperatures, which matters in the early months.

FAQ

What you want to know

What is the difference between swaddle blankets and muslin squares?

Swaddle blankets are usually larger and intended for swaddling or use as a blanket, while muslin squares are smaller and more versatile for everyday use, such as diaper changing or wiping.

How do you properly care for muslin cloths?

Wash them at the temperature recommended on the label, and avoid fabric softeners, as they can reduce the fabric's absorbency.

From what age are they suitable for swaddling?

They can be used from birth, and when swaddling, leave enough room for the baby's hips and legs to move naturally.
