The Frigg® Moon silicone pacifier is designed with the moon in motion in mind. The changing phases of the moon are visible on the shield and act as air holes that let delicate baby skin breathe.

• Cleaning and first use: Before first use, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes. Then take the pacifier out of the water and place it on a towel to air dry. Do not use sterilisers, a microwave or a dishwasher. For optimal safety and hygiene, we recommend discarding the pacifier after 1–2 months of continuous use. At the first sign of damage or wear, throw the pacifier away.

How do you clean a Frigg pacifier?

To protect our little ones from bacteria and viruses and keep the pacifier hygienic, proper care is needed.

1. Place the pacifier in a clean container
2. Pour boiling water over it
3. Let the pacifier soak for about 5 minutes
4. Take it out of the water and let it dry
5. Squeeze any excess water out of the teat once the pacifier has dried enough

Warning: Do not boil the pacifier in a pot. Frigg pacifiers are not meant to be boiled, as high temperatures can damage them. They are also not suitable for cleaning in sterilisers, washing machines or with detergents.

How often should you clean a Frigg pacifier?

The younger your child, the more important it is to protect them from bacteria and viruses and keep the pacifier hygienic. The immune system is not fully developed until 3 months of age, so between 0 and 3 months the pacifier needs to be cleaned more often.

The pacifier should be cleaned every time it falls on the floor. No matter how often you clean it, it is essential to replace it in time.
