Collection: Inlays

When choosing a shape sorter, it's worth thinking mainly about the child's age and developmental stage.

• Size and shape of the pieces: for the youngest children, larger, simpler pieces that are easier to grip and insert are more suitable, while older children can handle more intricate shapes.
• Material: wooden shape sorters are durable and pleasant to the touch, while some versions made from softer materials are suitable for infants who still explore objects with their mouths.
• Extra stimulation: shape sorters with sounds or colorful motifs further capture attention and add variety to play.
• Stability: the base should be stable enough that it doesn't move during play.
